EA-Series Recessed Chamber / Plate & Frame / Membrane Filter Presses

ErtelAlsop's Recessed Chamber Series, the EA Series, is among the most efficient means of liquid/solid separation through pressure filtration, either for solution filtration or sludge volume reduction. The EA Series provides a simple, reliable method of high compaction pressure, to compress and dewater solids into cakes of 25-60% total concentration. This provides clearer filtrate solutions than systems that can only remove free water.

EA-Series presses include full thickness, height, and solid tee-slotted steel sidebars, with stainless steel wear strips. Our slide heads ride on full size roller and bearing assemblies. Our closure systems incorporate the very latest in hydraulics and control technology. The EA-Series presses carry an unprecedented and unconditional six (6) year warranty from time of start-up.

These are heavy duty line of fabricated presses in both 100 PSI and 225 PSI design ratings and are available in sizes from 470 mm through to 1500 mm, with capacities up to 350 cubic feet or more. These presses feature t-slotted sidebars, plate shifters, cloth washers, bomb bay drip trays, manifolds, light curtains, and fast-acting hydraulic systems with manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic PLC and/or DCS controls.
